Meet Mr. Friedman,
a Paraprofessional

Hi! The best part of my job is working to maintain positive and supportive relationships with my English learner (EL) students while helping them develop their language skills. I try to be as patient, encouraging, and sensitive as possible to the needs of each learner while helping the classroom teacher create an engaging and supportive learning environment. Yet due to my lack of training and support, as well as the ongoing push-in distractions, I find my day-to-day rigamarole quite challenging. I’m eager to learn and would appreciate any resources that would allow me to better support ELs as well as the lead classroom teacher. Do you have suggestions?

Click on any of Mr. Friedman’s pain points to see how Ballard & Tighe’s English language development (ELD) curricula can help him. Don’t miss out on the free materials, samples, and activities!
