With more than 25 years of experience as an educator and administrator, Dr. Stathis has served as a member of Ballard & Tighe’s executive management team for 10 years, most recently as vice president of assessment & instructional materials. She holds a Ph.D. in education from the Claremont Graduate University, Claremont, CA, and an M.A. in education and a B.A. in anthropology and social sciences from California State University, San Bernardino. Dr. Stathis is the author and editor of numerous books, articles, and other publications. She is the co-author of several of Ballard & Tighe’s social studies textbooks, reading books and picture dictionaries for English learners — including the Explore the Ages historical reading books.
