Ballard & Tighe Announces New Chief Executive Officer BREA, CA – (August 28, 2007) – Ballard & Tighe, publisher of assessment and instructional materials for limited English proficient (LEP) students, today announced an evolution of the company’s top management structure. Owner and current chief executive officer Dorothy Roberts will become chairman of the board as Mark Espinola steps into the role of CEO of the highly respected educational publishing company, effective August 29, 2007. “One of our core strengths at Ballard & Tighe is an effective and committed management team. With his past managerial experience, Mr. Espinola is the perfect candidate for the position of chief executive officer. I am delighted that he has accepted the position,” said Ms. Roberts. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial and educational testing and assessment markets, Mr. Espinola has a proven record of success in leading organizations that deliver superior results. He joins Ballard & Tighe after having served as division president of Scantron Corporation (Irvine, CA), a worldwide leader in the educational testing and assessment market.
