  For Immediate Release Ballard & Tighe Teams with SG Consulting to Develop Carousel of IDEAS Language Assessments BREA, CA – (April 18, 2007) – Ballard & Tighe, publisher of tests and instructional materials for limited English proficient (LEP) students, today announced that it will team with SG Consulting, Inc. to develop a new series of placement and end-of-chapter tests for the Carousel of IDEAS, Fourth Edition English Language Development (ELD) program. “We are working with SG Consulting on an ambitious test development schedule and anticipate that the new Carousel assessments for Set 1 will be available in fall 2007,” indicated Dorothy Roberts, president of Ballard & Tighe. “Educators love the Carousel of IDEAS program because it is comprehensive, proficiency based, and accelerates the learning curve for English learners.
