Delivering the Lesson

NOTE ABOUT THE LANGUAGE PROGRESS CARD: As you move through each chapter, you will want to record on students’ Language Progress Cards the date each topic and language form is introduced. You should also record the type of language the students produced throughout the course of a unit. Instructions for using the Language Progress Card can be found in Appendix F of the Set 2 Teacher’s Guide.

Each chapter concludes with the Evaluation section. This section shows you how to assess students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in formal and informal evaluations. You will learn more about the specific types of assessment tools in the next section.

Before you learn more about evaluating students’ progress, you have the option of taking a Quick Quiz or moving on to the next section: Evaluation and Additional Reinforcement and Practice.
